Lunio

How to make a ringtone from any video on iPhone

Short answer: in Lunio, tap Make a Ringtone, pick a video, choose up to 30 seconds and tap Create Ringtone. Then tap Share Ringtone → Use as Ringtone. On iOS 26 and later that is all; no computer or GarageBand needed.

Step by step (iOS 26 and later)

  1. Open Lunio and tap Make a Ringtone.
  2. Pick the video (or a clip already in your Library).
  3. Move Starts at and Length to the part you want — up to 30 seconds. Tap Preview to listen.
  4. Keep Fade in and out on so it doesn’t start abruptly.
  5. Tap Create Ringtone. Your first ringtone is free.
  6. Tap Share Ringtone and choose Use as Ringtone.
  7. Change it any time in Settings › Sounds & Haptics.

On iOS 18–25 (with GarageBand)

  1. Make the ringtone in Lunio and tap Save to Files.
  2. Open GarageBand, start an Audio Recorder project and switch to the track view.
  3. Tap the loop button, open Files and drag the ringtone onto a track.
  4. Go back to My Songs, touch and hold the song, then Share › Ringtone.

Why 30 seconds?

iOS does not accept ringtones longer than 30 seconds. Lunio keeps the selection inside that limit.
