1. Summary

• Poko does not require an account.
• Poko does not use a Poko backend to store your goals, moods, notes, or memories.
• Your app data is stored locally on your device.
• Optional purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit.
• Poko does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.

2. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use Poko, the App may store locally:

• display name and pet state
• goals and goal completions
• mood check-ins and optional notes you write
• Energy, Coins, XP, Bond, and related day/progress state
• inventory, room setup, and equipped items
• adventure progress and discoveries
• memories
• notification preferences and in-app language preference
• StoreKit entitlement / ownership state as provided by Apple

This information stays on your device. Poko does not sync your journal or pet data to a Poko server.

3. Purchases

Optional premium packs (for example Sakura Room Pack and Sleepy Poko Pack) are one-time Non-Consumable In-App Purchases. Payment is processed by Apple. Poko does not receive or store your payment card details. Restore Purchases uses Apple's purchase system.

Apple may process purchase-related information under Apple's own privacy policy.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Poko may schedule local reminders on your device (for example daily or journey reminders). Poko does not send marketing push notifications from a Poko server.

5. Analytics and advertising

Poko does not use third-party advertising.

Poko does not use a third-party analytics SDK.

Diagnostic events may be logged locally on device for development and are not sent to a Poko backend.

6. Sharing

Poko does not sell your personal information.

Poko does not share your goals, moods, notes, or memories with advertisers.

7. Deleting your data

Because Poko data is stored on your device, deleting the App removes Poko's local data from that device (subject to any iOS backups you control). There is no Poko cloud account to delete.

8. Children

Poko is not a social network or public content service for children. Parents/guardians should supervise device use as appropriate.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if Poko's data practices change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.

1. What Poko is

Poko is a cozy companion app for small daily goals, gentle mood check-ins, soft adventures, customization, and collecting memories.

Poko is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. Poko is not a professional mental-health service.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, you may use Poko for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's App Store rules.

3. Your content on device

Goals, notes, check-ins, and memories you create are stored on your device. You are responsible for content you enter. Do not enter illegal content.

4. Purchases

• Core features of Poko work without purchase.
• Optional premium packs are one-time Non-Consumable In-App Purchases.
• Purchases are billed by Apple through your Apple ID.
• Restore Purchases is available in the App (Me → Settings → Restore Purchases).
• Prices are shown by Apple at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled under Apple's refund policies.

5. Notifications

Notifications are optional. You can decline or change them in the App and in iOS Settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access to systems you do not own, reverse engineer the App except where allowed by law, or use Poko in any unlawful way.

7. No warranties

Poko is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Poko. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

9. Apple's role

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer of Poko, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple may have rights as a third-party beneficiary of these Terms related to App Store distribution.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Poko after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise them.
