Weeksake stores your date of birth, life-map preferences, chapters, memories and selected photos locally on your device. You do not need to create an account.
We do not operate a server that receives your personal story. The app does not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal information.
When you select a photo through Apple's photo picker, Weeksake receives the image you choose. It does not request access to your entire photo library.
Optional weekly reminders use local notifications. You can enable or disable them in the app or in your device settings.
If you use widgets, limited information needed to display your map and Pro access status is shared between the app and its widget through storage on your device.
Apple processes payments. Weeksake uses Apple's StoreKit services to load product information, verify purchases and restore Pro access.
We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
You can export your story to a backup file and share cards generated by the app. Exported backups may contain personal text and photos. Weeksake does not encrypt these exported files.
You choose where to save or share them. Files sent to another person or saved with a cloud provider become subject to the protections and policies of that destination.
Your device's backup services may include Weeksake data, depending on your settings. Weeksake does not provide its own cloud-sync service.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot problems and manage your request.
Our email service provider processes this correspondence to deliver and store messages. We do not use support messages for advertising.
We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive journal content unless necessary.
You can edit or delete chapters and memories within Weeksake. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to your device's storage and backup behavior. Offloading the app may retain data.
Exported backups, shared copies and device backups must be managed separately. We cannot access or delete copies stored on your device or with services you choose.
For personal information you send us directly, you may request access, correction or deletion by emailing alex@alexframe.dev.
Where applicable, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your information, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority.
For support correspondence, we process information as necessary to respond to your request, pursue our legitimate interest in supporting the app, or comply with legal obligations.
We design Weeksake to keep your story on your device. Its protection also depends on your device security, backups and the destinations you choose for exported files.
No storage or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use appropriate device protection and keep exported backups somewhere you trust.
This policy describes the Weeksake app and support correspondence. External websites and services you choose to use may have their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Weeksake helps you visualize time, reflect on your experiences and preserve your personal story.
You are responsible for the content you add, export or share. You retain ownership of your content. Only use material you have the right to use, and respect other people's privacy and intellectual-property rights.
The life horizon is an adjustable visualization setting. It is not a prediction of your lifespan. Weeksake does not provide medical, psychological or other professional advice.
Weeksake is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
These terms provide additional information about Weeksake's features, purchases and use. They do not replace Apple's Standard EULA or limit rights provided by applicable law.
Weeksake offers free features and an optional Weeksake Pro Lifetime purchase.
Pro Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
The purchase unlocks the Pro features described on the purchase screen at the time of purchase. The applicable price is displayed before you confirm payment through Apple.
“Lifetime” refers to access to the purchased Pro features for the supported lifetime of Weeksake. It does not guarantee perpetual maintenance, compatibility with every future operating system or device, or access to every separately offered future product or service. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Payments are processed through your Apple Account under Apple's applicable purchase terms.
You can restore an eligible purchase using Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple, subject to applicable law. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, Pro access may be removed.
Existing story content remains accessible without Pro. Backup and restore are available without a Pro purchase. Free-plan limits may apply when creating additional content or using Pro features.
Your story is stored locally. Keep a backup before changing devices, deleting the app or making significant changes to your data.
Exported backup files may contain personal information and photos and are not encrypted by Weeksake. You are responsible for choosing appropriate storage and sharing destinations.
We cannot recover local content that has been deleted or lost if you do not have a usable backup. See the Privacy Policy above for more information.
We aim to keep Weeksake reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
We may release updates, fix problems or change compatibility requirements. Any changes affecting purchased functionality remain subject to applicable consumer protections.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory warranties, refund rights, liability or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Applicable provisions of Apple's Standard EULA also govern your use of the app.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Weeksake or applicable requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Updates will not remove rights that applicable law gives you for an existing purchase. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes.
