1. What the App does

Nodus TV - Remote Control lets you control compatible smart TVs and streaming devices (for example Android TV / Google TV boxes) over your local Wi‑Fi network. Features may include discovery, pairing, remote buttons, touchpad / D‑Pad navigation, text input, and related controls.

The App requires permission to access your local network so it can find and communicate with devices on the same Wi‑Fi. The App does not need your TV's cloud account password for this local control in typical setups.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws of your country. If you are under the age required in your region to consent to online services, you may use the App only with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

Free trial

New users may use the App for a 3-day free trial starting from first launch. Trial status may be stored on device (including Keychain) so reinstalling the App does not necessarily reset the trial.

Paid subscriptions

After the trial ends, continued use of remote-control features requires an active auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple:

• Premium Monthly — USD 1.99 per month (or local equivalent shown by Apple)
• Premium Yearly — USD 19.99 per year (or local equivalent shown by Apple)

Prices are set in App Store Connect and may vary by storefront/currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the equivalent App Store subscription management screen). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies. We do not process subscription payments directly.

4. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for lawful personal purposes in accordance with these terms and Apple's App Store terms.

You may not:

• reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or misuse the App;
• attempt to bypass subscription or trial limits;
• use the App to harm devices, networks, or other users;
• use the App in violation of applicable law.

5. Device compatibility and disclaimers

TV / box compatibility depends on brand, model, firmware, network setup, and manufacturer protocols. We do not guarantee that every device will be discovered, paired, or controllable.

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for loss of data, inability to control a device, network issues, or damages arising from use of the App, except where liability cannot be limited under law.

6. Privacy Policy

Information we process

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Local network / device information: IP addresses and names of TVs or boxes discovered on your Wi‑Fi, used only to connect and control those devices.
• Pairing / connection data: tokens or credentials needed to stay paired with a device, stored securely on your device (e.g. Keychain).
• Trial / entitlement state: information needed to enforce the free trial and recognize an active Apple subscription (via Apple StoreKit).
• App preferences: settings you choose in the App (for example haptics, auto-connect), typically stored on device.
• Diagnostics (limited): optional system logs on your device for debugging; we do not sell personal data.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not require creating an account with us to use local remote features.
• We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (health, precise continuous location tracking for advertising, etc.).
• Payment card details are processed by Apple, not by us.

Third parties

• Apple provides App Store, In-App Purchases / subscriptions, and related services under Apple's terms and privacy policy.
• If you contact us by email, your message and email address are processed to respond to support requests.

Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete the App or clear related Keychain/app data (subject to system behavior). Subscription records are maintained by Apple. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your choices

You can revoke local network permission in iOS Settings, disconnect devices in the App, cancel subscriptions via Apple, and delete the App. Some features will not work without required permissions.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

You use the App from your own region. Where required by law (for example GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data we hold (typically support emails). Contact us at alex@alexframe.dev.

7. Changes

We may update this document from time to time. The “Effective date” will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.
